Our core range of metals

Working with interior designers, architects and artists Morph and Metalier have developed a core range of Liquid Metal’s and finishes.

The options available in WA are a reflection of our local environment.

The Port City of Fremantle is an ode to the industrial finishes. The precious metals found in the Pilbara offer opulent sophistication. While WA’s rugged interior can be seen in our pitted and moonscape designs.

Aged metals.

Aging brings metals to life by developing depths of maturity and substance. We use a variety of methods to accelerate this process then we let nature take its course. While we control some of the process, it’s atmospherics that creates a patina unique to your project.

Industrial

  • BLACKENED STEEL

Possesses a captivating allure with its dark, sleek appearance. The unique patina and depth of colour add a sense of sophistication and industrial chic.

  • WINDSOR BRONZE

This is a deep bronze with warm, funky antique feel. Commonly used on large pivot hinged front doors, hotel lobbies and quiet relaxing spaces.

  • SMOKY BRONZE

Here the patina imitates the natural weathering and aging process that occurs when metal interacts with water. It results in a nuanced, weathered appearance with a blend of bronze and subtle smoke and aged undertones, lending a sense of authenticity and character to the metal’s surface.

  • BRONZE LUMINESENCE (PEARL)

  • FORGED BRASS

Forged brass displays bright yellows to deeper, richer gold tones. It’s also not uncommon to exhibit shades of brown, red, or even greenish-blue, showcasing an aged or weathered appearance.

  • BURNISHED NICKEL

Burnished nickel involves polishing the metal to create a smooth and lustrous finish, followed by a process that adds a darker patina and highlights to certain areas. This technique enhances the metal’s appearance, giving it depth and character while maintaining the inherent shine of nickel. The result is a sophisticated, darker, nuanced look compared to regular nickel finishes.

  • DARK COPPER

Dark copper exhibits a rich, deep hue that leans towards a darker shade within the copper spectrum. It appears as a warm, reddish-brown with a hint of charcoal. The developed patina can offer a striking and distinctive aesthetic in various applications, showcasing both elegance and character.

  • GUNMETAL SILVER RAW

Features subdued, metallic grey tones with hints of blue or green undertones, offering a sleek and sophisticated aesthetic. Gunmetal is only one of the grey metals offered by Morph and Metalier.

Despite being a bronze alloy, gunmetal will not take a patina. It can be darkened if required by the addition of black copper. It can be lightened with aluminium to create gunmetal silver.

  • RUST

Rust finishes offer a distinct aesthetic appeal with its weathered appearance. Reddish browns and fiery oranges are developed naturally and will vary in colour depending on atmospheric conditions. Rust is a popular choice in architectural designs and outdoor sculptures

Pilbara

  • COPPER VERDIGRIS

  • SALMON COPPER

The copper surface displays a warm and rose appearance, resembling the delicate and inviting tones of salmon.

  • CHAMPAGNE GOLD

    Champagne Gold

Metalier’s champagne gold liquid metal had an illustrious start to life, created especially for the bank of escalators installed in Harrods, London.

Champagne gold is not a yellow gold. The colour is mellowed to a pale delicate hue – just like champagne.

  • ROSE GOLD

A pinkish gold and was originally created for a hair salon in New Zealand. The salon has a very pretty pink theme and the metal highlights its pink mirrors and light-fittings.

  • ALUMINIUM RAW

  • NICKEL RAW (SLIGHTLY AGED)

Textured Surfaces

  • MOONSCAPE

Outback WA is littered with rock formations, dips and hollows like a furrowed moonscape. The meteor texture is featured here in Smokey Bronze.

  • PITTED

    Here in a Rose Gold.

  • PINNACLES

    Here in Black Copper.
